The main lesson that students should take away from today is that the topic, narrative scenes, and reflection should all be explaining the same thing -- the significant truth. Whatever your significant truth is, then you should be reflecting on it in the last paragraph; and the details and imagery that you use during the narrative, well, they should be leading from the start of the story up until that significant truth -- at which point, the last reflection will begin.
Remember, there should be more reflection in the paper than in the last paragraph. A good time to reflect is after the important moments of the narrative. |
