This week we will get into how to create and edit an attractive essay.
On Monday students will work to create a list of their skills and achievements so that, on A Day, they can take that information and enter it into a preliminary sketch of the skills and achievements they want to highlight. The students will create that outline, or sketch, of their skills after they learn about the writing principle of parallel structure (see Resume Materials for an introduction intro).
On B Day students will work with two different resumes (one well written, one not) and after their work, will write their own rough draft.
On Friday students will work with their resumes and I will check whether these preliminary drafts are ready to be turned into a rough draft.
